【ABSTRACT】Objective:To explore the expression and clinical value of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDAR)in patients with Sjögren's syndrome(SS)complicated with cognitive dysfunction. Methods:Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to test the serum levels of NMDAR in 42 cases in the cognitive dysfunction group,30 cases in the normal cognition group and 30 healthy controls. The laboratory indexes were recorded and the MMSE scores were evaluated in each group, and the above indexes were rechecked after three weeks of treatment. Results:The expression level of serum NMDAR in the cognitive dysfunction group(171.16±130.29)pg·mL-1 was significantly higher than those in the normal cognition group(171.16±130.29)pg·mL-1 and the healthy control group(92.69±67.25)pg·mL-1,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The serum NMDAR expression in the cognitive dysfunction group was higher before treatment than that after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(t = 3.87,P < 0.05).The expression of NMDAR in serum in the cognitive dysfunction group was negatively correlated with its MMSE score(r = -0.534,P < 0.05).Conclusion:NMDAR canbe used as a clinical indicator for early diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction in SS patients.
